Second time here...love it!! Service is great, food awesome, atmosphere is very inviting. Highly recommend it! Don't forget to try the guacamole and a Mason jar Margarita... woohoo!

This a must visit for anyone stopping in Ash Grove. Food was amazing and the owners came out to talk to us and share their stories. They are so welcoming to Cyclists you are missing out if you choose to eat anywhere else.

this was an awesome place in the heart of down town Ash Grove. the environment was inviting and had a dark tavern feel. i was the only person there for lunch at 1pm so the service was great and the food was delicious

We used to love this place! But on our last visit" the waiter was slow! And the owner came out as we were walking up" and my neighbor said oh look they have a little library! The owner said yes someone has been stealing books! How can you steal books from a free library? And the tone of her voice was (as she looked at Donna) don't be stealing books. I'm done with this place.

This little corner of Mexico in Ash Grove is going to make you fall in love with its food, it's ambience and atmosphere.The bar is fully loaded and Marc is a wizard, The kitchen is on top of everything and you are gonna have an incredible experience.Try the mason jar margarita for a great drink with a twist.Try and you'll become a regular!!!

What a wonderful GEM of a restaurant in a pleasant little town north of Springfield. The atmosphere and ambiance are truly exceptional. We were greeted warmly by Mama Loca and staff. Exceptional menu choices make picking out what to have a challenge. Don't miss this place!

Great place. I had bariatric surgery just over two months ago. I am able to only eat about 1 cup of food. They were very understanding of this and allowed me to only order a single taco. Very friendly, professional, and the decor is great. Will be going back very soon.

Hidden Gem in Ash Grove, Mo! They’ve been in business for almost 10 years and can’t believe we just tried it for the first time! Some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. Chips are thin and crispy. Salsa and fresh with some kick to it. We had the chimichanga and carne asada tacos- Amazing flavor and big portions. Dinners averaged $10-$12 per plate. We tried to loaded chocolate milkshake for dessert. It was huge and could easily feed 4 adults. They had various treats on the top to dip in and there were little chunks of graham crackers in the milkshake that made it so good. Very friendly and professional service. Waitresses who weren’t even serving our table would ask if we needed anything as they would walk by. Also really cool and unique atmosphere. Highly highly recommend this place!!

My family loves this restaurant. The food is awesome, the staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is very relaxing, and the inside has very beautiful decor. I only have one complaint. ...this restaurant is not open enough days.

The enchiladas platter was fantastic and the service here was wonderful, but the white queso dip was the worst, most unflavorful cheese dip I've ever tasted.

The building is so cool and the ambiance is great. The staff is also friendly and attentive. However, there is a limited menu, and if you are expecting authentic Mexican you will be disappointed, as it is very Americanized.

The food was great. Our waitress was wonderful, we had a large group and she was very tentative to all of us. We will definitely be going back!

How is a place this good in Ash Grove? All joking aside, this is one of our favorite place too eat in the springfield area. Is our go to date night dinner. Very friendly staff and great food and drinks. The bartender takes pride in everything served using the freshest of ingredients.

I wish I could have all my meals over there!You would never believe that such an authentic gem would be hiding in Ash Grove, Mo.The Mexican food rivals with all the best restaurants I’ve tried all over the US, the passion and the cooking skills generate dishes that are masterpieces.The service is outstanding, and Marc - the Bar Master - creates new amazing signature drinks every quite often.If you go there ask Marc for a Smurf, you will be pleased and impressed.

Awesome place to eat! Outstanding service and good food! I highly recommend this place. The owners actually took the time to come over and introduce themselves to us. By far one of the best experiences I have ever had a restaurant!
